“Love Jersey – love between peoples” is a modern-style work set in the present day, in which several episodes lead to think that man is no longer able to perceive the meaning of “union” between different cultures. The materials and colors used in its creation have been specially chosen to transmit certain values that have recently come to a crisis: peace among peoples, love between different nations, the concept of fraternity but above all the abolition of physical and mental barriers. For the realization of this project two techniques have been used: “glass sheet” and “cast glass”. All components were subsequently finished with a diamond technique. As for the glass, some components have been made with the classic “Murano opal” while for others has been used the black colour. The final result of the work suggests how love between nations and peoples can be touched by the heart, which has a worldwide color: red.
